New Read or Die Manga Previewed Before Saturday Launch
The editors of Shueisha’s new Super Dash & Go! magazine confirmed that the R.O.D. Rehabilitation manga will launchin the magazine’s third issue on Saturday. While the editors say the manga features an eyeglasses-wearing Yomiko, “she is not the Yomiko from before” in the previous light novel series, manga, and various anime projects. Hideyuki Kurata, the author of the original light novel series, is credited with the story of the new manga series. Young artist Choko Fuji is illustrating the manga. The original 2000-2006 R.O.D Read or Die light novel series inspired a 2001-2002 video anime series that Manga Entertainment once released in North America. Geneon Entertainment (then known as Pioneer) released the 2003-2004 television series sequel. Aniplex of America thenreleased the -R.O.D -The Complete- Blu-ray box set - with both anime projects.
