Arashi encourages victims in Special show on NTV

Popular group Arashi held a mini concert at Hichigahama city, Miyagi where there had been extensive damage due to last year’s tsunami. This was first time Arashi held concert at a victim area, before the concert they visited temporary housing and  interacted with the survivors.

The SP will air NTV 3 hours music show “Power of Music 2012” (on air 3/7 7pm) that convey earthquake disaster restoration aid message that Sho Sakurai (30) will be the MC.

Satoshi Ohno (31)  said “I felt power, rather it was us who felt happy. it was good space” The 5 showed profound sense of fulfilment. Hichigahama international village hall in Hichigahama where faces to the Pacific Ocean and got enormous Tsunami damage, The concert was held from 6 pm inviting about 500 people for free.

Arashi sang 11 tunes including new tune “Wild at heart” for 1 hour. they shaked hands with all of audiences, interacted directly.

Jun Matsumoto (28) commented “I could see detail reaction of audiences in the back. I could see audience who cry with emotion too. “ he got overwhelmed. “I saw then smile in the end, I realized power of music was amazing.”

Arashi have already visited victim area individually several times.But for Masami Aiba (29) its still brought emotions“ it was too sad for words seeing piled rubble with my own eyes .” he wince deep scarred victim area situation after about a year.

When they visited victim family who lives temporary housing. Sakurai got occasion to talk with 70 and 80 year old people and they shared that “I can forget bummer when I listen to music.” “at temporary housing we have only TV for amusement.”

“I want to bring cheer to victim area at this show” Sakurai promised.

Power of Music 2012 will air on 3/7, Sho Sakurai as MC, 20 artists such as Arashi AKB48, Masaharu Fukuyama will give appearances. Artists send “power of music” to victim area in one.
